The XLIII ELPIS Conference was held in Reykjavik, Iceland at the University of Iceland, Faculty of Law on 11th – 14th of June, 2014. 27 participants, including the host chairman of conference Professor Eyvindur G. Gunnarsson, attended the conference.
During the conference, one of the main focuses was the presentation of the new Erasmus+ Program. Cooperation report involved discussions about undergraduate and postgraduate students exchange, professors and teaching staff exchange and language skills of Erasmus students.
New projects, including LL.M Program entitled “LL.M. in French and European Union Law taught in English” (University of Cergie-Pontoise), Consortiums BATTUTA and IMPAKT, upcoming summer schools and International Moot Court Competitions were presented.
Concerning the membership report, the status of ELPIS membership was discussed. It was agreed that inactive members should be politely reminded on the existence of ELPIS or substituted if they are acting uncooperatively against the spirit of the network.
